For those that chose to brave the weather, we had a good meeting. We discussed moving our meetings to the public library, the Judith Umbach library, just off 64th ave and Center St. North. This location is not as central as we had originally considered, but the close proximity to the Deerfoot trail was thought to be good for our visitors from the south end of the city. Also, this location has plenty of free parking available. The only real downside we could see was not being able guarantee a meeting night as the room is booked on a first come, first served basis, but if we book out as far as possible ( 2 months in advance ) we should be able to keep a fairly regular schedule. The plan, so far, is to have our first meeting of 2020 at the library. As always, got to have toys to play with at the meeting. This month it was a couple of radios I picked up to clean up/restore during a few of the cold nights this winter. The Panasonic Panapet and Toot a Loop portable AM radios
