Because it's time to get this season started !
Our first meeting of the season is Tuesday, Sept 10th !
Can you believe it's September already ? Summer was a short one this year and not a warm one either. My garden is a month behind normal this year.
If you didn't make it to AmiJAM this summer, you missed out on a good show! We had a much larger turn out than was expected and the variety of equipment on display was great. From an Atari 2600 VCS to brand new, not even available for sale yet, Amiga motherboards and most of the machines you knew all those years ago.
Trevor Dickinson was there as well, with some new Amiga hardware from A-EON technologies as well as a few good stories and some news about hardware and software development in the Amiga community.
Over the summer I have had a few questions about possibly making some changes or additions to our meetings, so we'll have a few things to discuss at this months meeting, so hopefully everyone will be able to come down.
As for new toys to show off, I don't have any new Commodore toys, but I do have a couple of new, old, toys for us to take a look at.
Would you like to build yourself a brand new Commodore 64 ? Check out this episode from Retro Recipies - www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UX-gqylYgQ
What other computer, or nearly anything, have enough brand new, updated, parts available to build an entirely new unit, twenty years after production stopped !
Cheers everyone, hope I see you at the meeting Tuesday.
